If you want to start getting some quality video & still pictures at long distances through your spotting scope, then you need to pick up one
of our new Tines Up scope cam adapters.

The tines up scope-cam adapter is machined out of aircraft quality aluminum and is knurled around the outside to give it a sweet look and a
great feel. With its sleek shape and easy to use idea, its in a class of its own and will quickly be one of your favorite hunting tools.

So how does the adapter work? Well, it screws onto your video cameras filter threads just like a doubler or wide angle lens would.
The adapter can be left on at all times and can actually be a lens hood when not attached to your spotter. Leaving the adapter on  at all times is very effective in several ways. We leave ours on at all times and have it on our side for when we encounter one of those quick opportunities.

The adapter attaches onto your spotters eyepiece by just pushing it on with friction however on the adapter you will find two holes,
one across from the other, just under the threads. This is for the set screws (if it’s needed or wanted).  We don’t use the set screws because we like to keep it simple and fast; so if the scope cam adapter is requiring more friction to hold your camera properly then take a small piece of electrical tape and place it on the inside of the adapter wall to make for more friction & a more snug fit.. This will make it so you wont even need the set screws, and will make it faster and easier to use.
(See pictures1,2 & 3)

The adapters threads are 37mm but with a step up or step down ring, the adapter will fit any video camera that has filter threads. (most palm video cameras have thread sizes of 25mm, 27mm, 27.5 mm, 28mm, 30, 30.5mm, 37mm, 43mm, 46mm, 49mm & 52mm) If your video camera doesn’t have a 37 or 58mm filter thread, then you can find one of these adapter rings (and more) for your camera right here on the site.

Right now we are making the Scope Cam adapters for the New & Older model Voretex skyline 80 (see below for the dfference) Vortex Razor HD, Vortex Nomad, Leica Televid 82,77,65 & 62, Swarovski ATS STS 80 & 65 (read about Swaros below) and the Zeiss Diascope 85 & 65. We are continuing to work on getting more quality spotters on the list. These adapters work on these models in both the angled and straight bodies. The Scope Cam adapters are made to fit the zoom eyepieces. (the new Vortex Skyline scope has the normal focus knob and also a fine focus knob; the eyepiece diameters on the two are just a hair different). Swarovski tightened up the rubber around the eyepiece glass in 2010 by 1/16 of an inch. If you buy a Swarovski scope)cam drop us an email with your scopes eyepiece measurement from rubber edge to rubber edge right across the middle of the eyepiece, this will help us get you the perfect adapter.

Video cameras with low optical zooms work best for digiscoping, we don't recommend digiscoping with a video camera that has an optical zoom over 34x. Max. camera weight for a straight is 15-16oz, angled scopes 1.3 pounds with battery. The video Scope)Cam works best at long distances like 700 yards and more (for digiscoping at closer distances pick up the "Point & Shoot" Scope)Cam). Black edges will be eliminated after about 9 or 10x zoom, with the video Scope)Cam.

If you are interested in getting a Scope-Cam for your camera but your spotting scope is not listed above, then email me at  rkp_4@hotmail.com or rparsons@tinesup.com and we could get you one made.

Video Scope)Cams with a 58mm thread are now available. Works perfect on those 58mm filters like on the HFS10 & many others.

We also have a new "Point & Shoot" scope-cam adapter that will be out for sale around mid Aug. These will work with about any standard size point & shoot digital camera. We will be selling the Point & Shoot Scope)Cam as a package deal with a camera and accessories all ready to go & also as a self mounting kit. Be sure to check them out, they are incredible.

The Tines Up Scope Cam Adapter is extremely easy to use and is very effective. It is the sleekest, fastest camera adapter on the
market at a very low price.
