Ok boys, I am guessing the elk are starting to talk. I just wondered how heated up they are getting. Give us some info!

I was also on Monroe last weekend and there wasn't much at all...I think we only heard one bull trying to bugle the whole weekend.

I was out on the SW Desert and heard one bugle three times in fifteen minutes. Found a wallow that a bull had hit within the last couple hours too! I am stoked for the weekend so I can call one in, and then slay it...

What about the other units in the state. Anyone want to comment on the Pahvant, Fishlake, the Dutton or the Boulder Mountain?

I haven't been down to the Pahvant for a week, but I talked to a good friend of mine yesterday that has is down there now, and he said it's still really quiet. A couple bugles here and there, but not much.

Went out over the weekend with a coulple of freinds that have Diamond Mt. Archery tags. Got right on the big heard bull right at first light he was screamin pretty good. Had him at ten yards but he just did not take the last step. He already had six or seven girlfreinds.

Sounds like most parts of the state they are just beginning. Any information fro the Manti, San Juan, or the Boulder?
