Is anyone willing to share any local knowlege of Colorado Unit 62, 3rd Season. First time on this unit. I am willing to share info on Unit 41 or unit 411, we have hunted these units 4 different times.

Well all I can say is there are some big bulls and and some big bucks in there but theres a butt load of hunters that go there. It's one of the only over the counter bull areas around here (grand junction) thats close. And that makes deer hunting that much harder. All I can tell you is, look at a map and stay away from the roads, they will be packed with road hunting quads

used to archery hunt 62 alot know the area from moniter to pool creek pretty good the good hunting is down low in basins like potters, gotter and along the rouibedou wilderness area there is alot of hunters up high with work a good buck cam be found hope this helps
