Set a goal of 100 this year, my first day out today helped me get a head start! 17 whitetails (16 fresh) and one head. Muleys are still holdin on hard and should for awhile yet. I was not expecting to find this many whitetails but I'll take whatever the shed gods throw at me.

That's a hell of a sweet lookin' set you picked up there, what one might call a mass hog! Have you seen any of these deer on the hoof? Pretty desolate lookin' country you are picken these up in too, looks like you could watch your dog run away for three days in a place like that! Is that another one in the third picture back by the fence or is that just grass?

I don't get to hunt this property, so no I have not seen any of these bucks on the hoof... I left the heavy set at the landowners place so will ask him next time if he's seen it.
And yes, there are a lot of desolate looking places out here.
